About Us
The Clinic
Blake Veterinary Clinic is a new practice in Clarksville, TN. Drs. Richard and Candice Blake have had long family ties to the Clarksville area and have worked in the area for several years. In a fast growing city, they wanted to start a clinic that could still provide local, family owned care to their clients and patients. Quality medicine is a passion of theirs and both believe that each pet should be offered the best care that can be provided, while maintaining a close relationship with owners.

Our Mission
We are honored to have the opportunity to serve our clients, their pets, and the community. Our mission is to provide high-quality, evidence-based medicine for our patients. We strive to keep up to date on the newest techniques, technologies, and research to provide the best quality of life for our patients. We recognize the significance of the human-animal bond and aim to create a family focused relationship between the veterinarian, staff, client, and patient. We respect our staff and value their impact on the practice, patient care, and client interactions. Their well-being, training, and advancement in knowledge are invaluable. Our goal is to provide every human and animal that enters our practice with respect, compassion, a clean facility, and exemplary care.

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Molly White has been caring for pets and their people for the past four years. A proud UT Knoxville graduate — Go Vols! — she completed both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees there. Dr. White knew from an early age that she wanted to care for animals, and she now has a special interest in surgery, internal medicine, preventive care, and helping clients feel confident and informed about their pets’ health.
For her, the best part of veterinary medicine is watching her patients grow from playful puppies and kittens into beloved senior companions — and being there every step of the way.
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her spending time with her fiancé Andy and their three dogs — Sunny, Tuck, and Blue. She also loves reading a good book, traveling to new places, kayaking local rivers, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
She’s excited to join the BVC team and looks forward to building meaningful connections and relationships with pets and their families for years to come.
We are excited to introduce our staff! They have been amazing helping us get our doors open and have such a passion for pet care. We can't wait for you to meet them!

Michelle
Hey! My name is Michelle! I was born and raised in Indiana, which is also where I met my husband. We were lucky enough to move to Alaska soon after our wedding day and lived there for 3 years. We also have a 2 year old daughter, who is perfect in every way! I started my career in the veterinary field in 2018 and have since found a passion for canine behavior.
I have two dogs, a German Shepherd named Chief, who I thank for helping me find my passion, and another German Shepherd named Belle, who I rescued recently working at Blake Veterinary Clinic.
Some of my hobbies include reading, writing, brunch with friends, and spending time with my husband and daughter as much as possible!

Welcome Kaitlyn to the Blake Veterinary Team. Kaitlyn is one of our technicans. She is originally from the Clarksville area and has been here her whole life. Kaitlyn has always had a strong love and passion for animals, so she graduated from Austin Peay and pursued her love of animals with a career in veterinary medicine. Kaitlyn and her husband have 3 dogs (French Fry, Steele, and Juno), 2 cats (Sassafras and Ferdinand), 2 horses (Cody and Hank), 3 reptiles (Lieutenant Dan, Tango, and Mojave), and 13 chickens. In her free time, Kaitlyn loves anything art/craft related, reading, or doing any sort of outdoor activity. Kaitlyn has previously worked with the Blakes; so when they decided to open their own clinic, she knew right away she wanted to follow them on this new adventure. We look forward to working with her again and our other staff members!

Kim
Meet Kimberly, one of the Assistants joining our team here at Blake Veterinary Clinic. Kimberly was born and raised north of here in Kentucky but just recently moved right across the border into Tennessee. She grew in that role and moved into a management position in which she learned many other valuable skills. Kimberly decided in 2020 that she wanted to move into a position that allowed her to work with animals, something she has always had a deep love for. She comes to us with nearly 4 years of Veterinary Medicine experience and has recently applied at Purdue University in the Veterinary Nursing Program to further her education and obtain her associate in applied science to then become a Licensed Tech. Along with having a love for animals Kimberly enjoys hiking, crocheting, and spending time with her human and fur children. She has two human daughters named Ashlynn and Presleigh and her fur-babies include a Great Dane named Maverick (the most handsomest boy), a Long Coat Dalmatian puppy named Goose (his proper name is Silly Goose), a rescue Pit Mix named NaNa, a Maine Coon named Reba MeowcEntire, and two adopted kitties: Freya the tortoiseshell and Salem the black cat.
